The windmills and solar panels work fine and the kids can do their homework in the evenings. Furthermore, this year a fence is placed so the safety is guaranteed !

The Endeleo Foundation gave a presentation on the project in Tanzania. This took place at the request of the Foundation for Development Aalsmeer.

November 2011
In October and November 2011 the wind turbines and solar panels are placed and installed at the orphanage. The children and staff now have access to electricity. We are very pleased that the project was successful and completed.

The orphans Raphael and Efraem and the staff member since May 1, 2010 are following an education basic Electra and renewable energy. The practical part they will perform in the design and construction of the power supply system at the orphanage.

The Montessori school downtown Maastricht organized a charity run on May 25, 2010 . The revenues of 6461.99 Euro are fully benefited for the orphanage in Tanzania. Besides the charity received lesson students in renewable energy. We are very pleased with the involvement and commitment of all pupils, teachers and parents.

Endeleo Foundation has signed an agreement with World School
(http://www.worldschool.nl ) . World School is an organization with several schools and small development organizations performing an educational program for students of the 5th and 6th grade VWO . The students work on assignments from developing countries for their project with the aim to involve them in development cooperation, to enhance their world and give them the opportunity to contribute to a better world . We will work together with our local partner in Tanzania formulate assignments for these students and guide them

 

April 2010
On 24 april 2010 Endeleo Foundation participated as booth holder on the Afrika day (http://www.afrikadag.nl). This day is prganized by the Evert Vermeer Stichting and had was dedicated to international cooporation. The (inter)national attendees could next to plenary meetings also participate in a diverse range of lectures, debates and workshops in the field of information, culture and politics.

In December 2009 and January 2010 5.000 cards where send with the wishes from the board to profide access in 2010 for the children of Kiserian to durable electricity. Klik here (pdf) for the card (dutch).

Oktober 2009
For the children Raphael and Efraem (16 and 17 years) and a staff member a scholing trajectory was set ath the Technical College in Arusha. They will start soon with a basic education electronics expanded with a module concerning solar and wind power.

The National commitee for International Cooperation and Durable Development (NCDO) supports this project by doubling all funds accuired by us. up till a maximum amount of
€ 17.850,00.
